
Dina Tasbulatova
Biography
Dina Tasbulatova was born on January 1, 1988, in the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan. She grew up in a family of medical professionals: her father was an anesthesiologist, and her mother was a dentist. In 2010, she graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 2013, she completed her studies at the Faculty of Cinema and Television at the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, specializing in documentary filmmaking. She began her film career with the movie *Ümitiñdi üzbe* (*Don't Lose Hope*), which was showcased at the Eurasia Film Festival. She is also known as the host of the *Profilm* TV show and the creator and director of the *Artfocus* television program. Her filmography includes roles in movies such as *Businessmen* (2018), *Roots* (2024), and *My Big Kazakh Family* (2021). Dina Tasbulatova is one of Kazakhstan’s most in-demand actresses, successfully combining her acting career with work as a TV host and director.
