His busiest western period was 1935 when he appeared in a pair of Hopalong Cassidy adventures as well as a pair with John Wayne. He was known for Hop-a-Long Cassidy (1935), Bar 20 Rides Again (1935), Lawless Range (1935), Westward Ho (1935) and The Dandy and the Belle (1931).
