Xavier Babudar

Xavier Babudar

Biography

Xavier Michael Babudar, widely known by his online persona “ChiefsAholic,” rose to prominence as a Kansas City Chiefs superfan who attended games in a full-body wolf costume and built a large social-media following. His enthusiastic presence at games and online made him a recognizable figure among NFL fans, but his public image collapsed when investigators linked him to a series of bank robberies committed across multiple states between 2022 and 2023. Prosecutors later revealed that he stole hundreds of thousands of dollars, laundered the money through casinos, and used the funds to finance his travels, bets, and game attendance. Babudar eventually pleaded guilty to federal charges including robbery, money laundering, and transporting stolen property, resulting in a 17½-year federal prison sentence. In 2025, he received an additional 32-year state prison sentence for an armed robbery in Oklahoma, along with multimillion-dollar restitution ordered to one of his victims.
