Biography

Baddie Roma, born Kurt Cyrus Cuyos Orbeta on May 30, 2005, is a Filipino singer and songwriter. Known for her bold style and musical talent. She grew up in the province after her mother was assigned as a teacher at Lanao Elementary School in Daanbantayan Cebu. From an early age, Baddie loved music. During family gatherings, she would often sing karaoke, dreaming of one day becoming a star. When she was 4 years old, Baddie discovered Lady Gaga, and after hearing "Bad Romance," she knew she wanted to pursue a career in music. The song even inspired her stage name. Baddie debuted her music career on December 4, 2020, with her first single, Night Without You. Over the next year, she released more singles and EPs, including OCTONOV and Cry Of Sadness. Some of her songs charted in the Deezer Philippines Top 100, though they didn't gain major fame. In 2024, Baddie decided to remove all her music from streaming platforms, making her songs unreleased, including the OCTONOV and Cry Of Sadness EPs. Baddie graduated from Daanbantayan National High School on May 29, 2024, and shortly after, moved to Cebu City to follow her dreams. Her debut live performance took place on October 21, 2024, at Infamous Ink Cebu during a Halloween event. A week later, she performed at a Pride Night at the University of the Philippines Cebu. Baddie continues to use her platform to support LGBTQ+ rights and inclusivity, while working towards her dream of becoming a recognized artist.
